Since moving to Los Angeles in October 2004, Wayne has been writing, directing, producing and acting. He has studied at The Groundlings School, Upright Citizens Brigade and at the Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop. Luckily for him he works constantly and consistently with actress Natalie Lipka. Together, they wrote, produced and starred in the short film, Team Apparition, which was about a group of dysfunctional ghost hunters. After working together again on Balancing Act podcast, they did a stint on Comedy Central's "Kroll Show". They can't stop! Now together again Hollywood Close-up podcast is their answer to all the answers (or their take anyway) on the entertainment business. Born in Needham, MA, Wayne performed in his first talent show at the age of six. He did comedy impersonations and had the faculty and students at the John F. Kennedy grade school in stitches, or so that's how he recalls it. Several years later his career in entertainment took a huge turn when his family relocated to Nashville, TN. There, he won an award for best actor for playing the starring role in William Shakespeare's Macbeth, showing his chops as a serious actor. However, comedy was his real forte' as Wayne got an agent and pushed his career even further. After graduating in Mass Communications at Middle Tennessee State University, Wayne decided being a newscaster was way too boring. So he started doing stand-up at Zanies Comedy Club and acted in several music videos including country singers, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks and Pam Tillis. He also has quite an impressive list of commercials for restaurants such as Tumbleweeds, Western Sizzlin, Red Lobster and Popeyes. Wayne also had the pleasure working in the film Changing Hearts with icons Tom Skerritt, Faye Dunaway and Lauren Holly.
