EJ Scalzi went to college in Iowa and played football until he became injured. While taking a theater class he auditioned for The Real Inspector Hound to earn extra credit points. This was his first audition and he got the role. EJ then went to the Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television. He then moved to New York and landed several acting jobs. He has studied and trained with the best in New York and in Hollywood. Scalzi was inspired when a N.Y. casting director told him he was more fast and the furious than a Shakespeare look. Shortly thereafter, he packed his bags and moved to L.A. He also worked with Continuum Pictures as both an actor and producer on films including The Absents, Ocean Front Property and Unseen Shadows. Recently EJ landed the role of the Yuppy opposite 50 cent in " Gun" starring Val Kilmer, Annlyn Mccord. EJ Scalzi believes in mixing a little of Meisner technique with his own methods, that have worked for him.
