Ken Mosher is an American musician and composer born Dec 14, 1965 in St. Louis, MO. Mosher moved to Chapel Hill, NC in 1989 and was a co-founder of the band Squirrel Nut Zippers. The band recorded four full length records and one EP, and their catalog sold over 3 million units. Their recordings have been licensed for hundreds of commercials, TV shows and movies. After leaving the band in 1999, he co-founded Maxwell/Mosher Publishing with band mate Tom Maxwell. Their successes culminated in the recording of the 2006 composition "Have You Had Enough?" recorded with Ricki Lee Jones. Maxwell/Mosher composed, recorded and donated their song to progressive Democratic candidates in an effort to defeat the policies of George W. Bush. The song received over 500,000 views and downloads, and was freely used by over 100 candidates in radio and TV Commercials. The song was cited by Salon as the second most effective political commercial in 2006.
