Nicolás Superby

1979, Filmmaker and teacher, studied in Escuela de Cine de Chile, in ESCAC (Barcelona) and documentary at UAHC. Working as Art Director, Photographer, Director and Editor, Nicolás completed a series of audiovisual works, together with visual artist Juan Pablo Langlois, among them video series in stop motion "Recetario / Papeles Sádicos" (Altazor prize winner in 2012). These videos have been shown both in Chile and around the world, the documentary "Isidora" and several experimental shortfilms. Today he is working in new projects combining analog and digital techniques, and teaching audiovisual language and technique both in classes and workshops in universities and academies.
