Carles Cardelús

Carles Cardelús is a director and a photographer based in Barcelona and Girona (Gerona), Spain. He is specialized in documentaries and advertising and fashion photography. As a Filmmaker, he worked for companies as MANGO and he directed the documentary Socotra: The Hidden Land which won 15 international awards such as the Rising Star Award at the Canada International Film Festival, Best Cinematography in Noida International Film Festival of India, a Nomination at the Best European Documentary in ÉCU-The European Independent Film Festival and at the Best International Documentary in GZDOC of China. As a photographer, Carles Cardelús has published in international fashion magazines and he makes advertisings, fashion campaigns and beauty photography. He is co-director of production company Kilogram Box based in Barcelona and Girona, Spain. He also taught cinema and photography for 7 years in two universities in Barcelona (Spain) at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and ELISAVA.
