Mehmet Bagriacik

Mehmet Bagriacik more popularly known as Memo, was born in Istanbul City. Here Memo spent his childhood developing his love of poetry and performance. He wrote what he likes to call "spiritual poetry", demonstrating that from an early age he had depth and the talent in composing. At the age of nine Memo wrote his first song, a ballad of love to his mother which he likes to recall as "the world's m...ost cheesiest song." Memo left Turkey to live in the U.S where he travelled around and delved into different types of music. In 2002 he started a metal band called Mesken with some close friends. Memo is currently working on his solo project Memo Baa and is currently (2013) recording his debut album.
