James Leatherman was born on a small dairy farm in Upstate New York. Starting in college at WJPZ Syracuse, he did voiceover work throughout New York and New England. After moving to Arizona in 2006, James shifted his attention to theatre and film, performing with Southwest Shakespeare Company and earning several awards in local film festivals. James is a vocal advocate for film production in Arizona, where he feels some of the brightest talent in the country can be found.
