Born to a father in transportation and a secretarial mother, Jeff was raised in the middle classes of Toronto, Canada. Through his years in high school, Jeff would find a great passion for video production, sometimes even convincing teachers to let him create a short film instead of write an essay. He wasn't the most academic of children, as he would go through school with charisma and determination that teachers loved, but with grades his parents didn't. Despite his flare for film, Jeff would go in a different direction, leaving high school early and training to be a classical chef. Jeff would get cast by Food Network Canada as the featured chef for a new television series titled "Look Who's Cooking Now", a cooking show that would never see the light of day. After that, Jeff decided to take matters into his own hands and Create, Produce, Write and Star in a web-based life-style show called "Toronto Bites". After "Toronto Bites", Jeff took a trip to Ireland and shot a video journal, which would end up evolving into the acclaimed feature length documentary "Roots of a Man". Made for just $2500 "Roots of a Man" would garner Jeff his first foray of press, official selections into International, Oscar Feeding film festivals and invitations to other festivals to host workshops on no-budget filmmaking. Jeff and his brother would independently distribute over 900 DVD copies of the film to countries all over the world. In late 2005, Jeff began writing and pre-production work on a feature length western titled "Six Reasons Why". The film would turn into a labour of love, costing Jeff two years of his life, his life's savings. "Six Reasons Why" once complete, was purchased by THINKFilm in the fall of 2007 for North American Distribution. Jeff has also written, directed, edited and produced many other short films, commercials and music videos to date.
