Deceased American professional wrestler, manager and referee best known for his work for WCW and SMW. He, Mick Foley and Shane Douglas all trained at Dominic DeNucci's wrestling school in Pittsburgh at the same time. He started in the 1980s working various independents, before catching on as a referee, often under the name Dr. Mark Curtis. He also wrestled for SMW as Kowabunga Ninja Turtle, a gimmick based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) franchise. He died of stomach cancer at the age of 37. Got his nickname after a fan jumped the guard rail, sliding under the bottom rope to enter the ring, attempting to interfere in a match between Psicosis (Dionicio Castellanos) and Dean Malenko on Chairman Piper (1997) (September 8, 1997). He put the fan in a guillotine choke and held him there until security could take him into custody.
