Ariel Mirabal-Ramos was born in 1981 and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He began attending high school in Coney Island and moved to South Florida at the age of 15. Hollywood, Florida became Ariel's new home until the age of 17 when he enlisted in the United States Army. After serving five years in the military, Ariel was offered an opportunity to work as a federal civilian for the Department of Defense where he traveled abroad working alongside the Combatant Commander. While traveling, Ariel took up an interest in the art of filmmaking and began creating his first featurette. In 2005, "Faded," written and directed by Ariel Mirabal-Ramos, was selected to be screened at a Hollywood, California film festival. This experience propelled Ariel to pack his bags and move to the City of Angels, to pursue his passion of both acting and filmmaking.
