Ermanno Felli

Ermanno Felli earned a Laurea degree in Philosophy in Rome, worked as an assistant director at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. In the same year, he was 1.AD by the Romanian feature film "Futch". From 2003 to 2005, he studied film directing at the VGIK, the All-Russian State University of Cinematography in Moscow. It was there he completed work on a number of short-films, including "The Gentleman", "The Desire", "This First Kiss" and the documentary "Walking Tango in Moscow". His second documentary, the 57-minute "Musica Concetrationaria", developed in collaboration with Italy-based Bixio Productions, was shown on television in Belgium, Israel and the U.S. From 2006 to 2012, Ermanno wrote, produced and directed a number of commercials for Italian TV. He continued his passionate relationship with acting and the theater, including a role in the TV series "Where is my daughter", an Endemol production for Canale 5. From 2013 to 2014, he worked as 1. AD for different feature films in Germany and Italy. In 2013, he graduated in the Fiction Production/Dramaturgy program at the iSFF in Berlin and was qualified "Film Producer" by the Chamber of Commerce of Berlin. On the side, he contributes articles on theatre and cinema for a number newspapers and magazines, composes poetry and fairy tales. Italian mother language, he speaks fluent English, German and Russian. In 2014, he got the second price by Raindance Film Festival for best story and best pitch with the script "Tango Tehran" written with Mirko Jaetschmann. The script was selected in the competition of Sundance Film Festival. In 2015, he founded the Indipendent Film Production "Dubsar Pictures srl" and wrote the novel "Tango Tehran" and published it in 2016. By RIFF, Rome Independent Film Festival 2016, he won the first award for "The Frozen Desert" as best script-subject. The Script "The Frozen Desert" was quarter-finalist by Script Festival Page Turner Screenplays 2021.
