James Tobey

James was born in Pontiac, Illinois, the youngest of three. The family relocated to Gresham, Nebraska in the early 70s where they operated a small town grocery store for many years. While attending York High School, York, Nebraska, James was active in theater at school and the Yorkshire Playhouse. After graduation he moved to Omaha to attend school, eventually working in both sales and restaurant management. In 1997 James entered the Omaha theater community where he worked at SNAP! Productions, Blue Barn Theatre, Chanticleer Community Theatre and Stage West to name a few where he became comfortable working on stage and behind the scenes. In December 2005 he made the move to Los Angeles, California to chase the dream of becoming a star.
