Sharon Freedman has lived, studied and worked around the world in such cities as New York, London, Chicago, Amsterdam, San Francisco and most recently in Los Angeles. Her film credits include Cold Winter's Night (Winner of Best Short Film at North Hollywood Cinefest & Maryland International Film Festival) It's Dark Here (starring Illeana Douglas), Ladies Room (official selection of Slamdance) and The Ski Trip (LOGO Network). She has appeared in numerous commercials, industrials, and voiceovers for clients including Volkswagen, Clorox, Ralph Lauren, Domino Sugar, Sears, Aetna, and MTV. Her theater credits include Off-Broadway work in NYC at such theaters as Ensemble Studio Theater, Rattlestick, and Primary Stages. She is a member of the Obie Award winning theater company Partial Comfort Productions (NYC), of the Multi-Award winning Ensemble Studio Theater/LA and an associate member of the Multi-Award winning Sacred Fools Theater Company. She was, also, the Co-Creator and Company Manager of The 24Seven Lab which developed over 50 new plays over 7 years including the Drama Desk Award and Lucille Lortel Award winning play The Whale by Sam Hunter and the Obie Award winning play Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker. She is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School and Experimental Theater Wing.
