Jonah previously starred in Broadway's WICKED as "Fiyero". He is a multi-platform creator and performer, with an extensive background across many aspects of the entertainment industry. As an actor, Jonah has appeared on stages across the country, as well as various digital and television projects, such as "Marty" in A WALK ON THE MOON (ACT, World Premiere), "Jack" in Lifetime's I'LL BE WATCHING opposite Janel Parrish, "Woof" in HAIR at the Hollywood Bowl (starring Kristen Bell), a scene-stealing role in the series finale of NBC's beloved comedy THE OFFICE, and most recently NBC's Emmy-winning JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR: LIVE starring John Legend. He is currently signed on to play Dean Dillon in the biomusical TENNESSEE WHISKEY, featuring the incredible Dillon country music catalogue. Jonah is also well known as a musician and singer, performing his signature solo concerts around the country and all over Los Angeles - from New York to Miami to Baltimore to Philadelphia to Hollywood classics like The Troubadour, The Roxy, The Whiskey, The Viper Room, and the Catalina Jazz Club. Jonah also has an extensive background in television comedy, having worked on the writing staffs of several network classics such as PARKS AND RECREATION and FAMILY GUY. Most recently, he was a staff writer on the short-lived NBC comedy MR. ROBINSON, starring Craig Robinson. He is also co-founder and former President of Starlight Studios, where he oversaw the production of myriad projects such as TAKE ME TO THE SOUTH, directed by Kristen Stewart, and the animated short COLD FEET, a Toronto International Film Festival selection. He is also an award-winning vocal arranger and producer, having won or been nominated for several Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, including Best Song, Best Arrangement, and Best Album. Recent directing credits include sold-out presentations of IRENA SENDLER, a new musical from Kait Kerrigan and Megan Cavallari, featuring a cast of Broadway talent with the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony; the award-winning IAMA Theater Company's Broadway Backwards and the critically lauded, thrice extended production of DOG SEES GOD: CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE BLOCKHEAD at The Blank Theater in LA, which was awarded a Hollywood Fringe Festival Encore Selection. He also directed and produced ONE NIGHT STAND: AN IMPROVISED MUSICAL, which performed completely improvised musicals around the world, including sold-out runs at Hollywood's Hudson Theater, the New York Musical Theater Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In the past year, he has directed two readings of THE GIVER, the musical stage adaptation of Lois Lowry's international bestseller, for which he is also lyricist and co-composer.
