Christian Amundson

Christian Amundson is a freelance filmmaker based in San Francisco, California. His short film "Ogopogo", one of very few projects to come out of the Okanagan region of western Canada, won awards at the Victoria International Film Festival and the ReelHeart Festival in Toronto, and was an official selection at numerous festivals across North America. In 2008, Christian received a fellowship to produce a short film under the aegis of La Fémis, the acclaimed French State film school. In 2012, Christian's short-form documentary "Protovillage" was chosen as a finalist in GE's International Focus Forward competition. Christian is a filmmaker in residence with award-winning independent ad agency Venables Bell & Partners, and is on the faculty of digital filmmaking at The Art Insitute of California - San Francisco. Christian holds an MFA in Directing from Columbia University, New York.
