Andrew Blum is a director, cinematographer, and editor in New York City. His director credits include eleven 30-minute programs for the BBC, including the short documentary "Driving Mexico's Economy" (2017), "New York Stories with Joe Pascal" (2018), and the "Talking Movies" 20th-anniversary special (2019, after having shot, edited, or produced more than 25 episodes of the series). Recent Director of Photography credits include five episodes of Al Jazeera's flagship program "Empire," the fictional feature film "Right of Way," and the documentary "Beyond the Beach" (filmed in Sri Lanka and for which he received a United Nations Foundation Prize). He has edited commercials, music videos, documentaries, and narrative films. Andrew studied film & television at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and has worked most extensively with the BBC and Al Jazeera. His client list includes Warner Bros., HBO, Corcoran, kabel eins, Canal+, RTL, Reuters, Estée Lauder, ZDF, HSBC, Northwell Health, ITV, Red Bull, Girl Scouts, Saks Fifth Avenue, International Rescue Committee, and The Jim Henson Company.
