"As a woman and a director, it was a challenge to approach the macho figure that Hemingway symbolized". Spanish director, screenwriter, and producer. After finishing her studies in philology, film directing, and a master's degree in writing for film and TV, she has developed her work as a teacher and researcher in the area of Film Studies and other Audiovisual Media in the Department of Art History at the University of Zaragoza. In 2010, she founded the audiovisual production company called Amapola Films with Kike Mora, Raúl García, and Jesús Bosqued, and in 2011 she released her first feature film entitled De tu ventana a la mía, which was nominated for three Goya Awards 2012: "Best New Director", "Best Supporting Actress" and "Best Original Song" as well as the Jury's Special Mention for Direction and a Mention at the Festival de Óperas Primas de Tudela. She also has in her repertoire other titles such as La novia (2015); the documentary Relato de esperanza (2006); and several short films: Para hacer una historia en cinco minutos (2001), Saldría a pasear todas las noches (2002), El rostro de ido (2003), Fotos de familia (2004) and El hueco de Tristán Boj (2008). He has also directed the feature film Al otro lado del río y entre los árboles (2022) and episodes of television series, such as the one entitled Así de fácil for the 2020 miniseries En casa.
