Happy Anderson is a unique and talented character actor with an extensive resume in television and film. His recent work includes recurring roles on Snowpiercer (TNT), David Fincher's Mindhunter (Netflix), Stephen Soderbergh's The Knick (Cinemax), Gotham (Fox), Claws (TNT), and Blacklist (NBC). His other television work includes The Deuce (HBO), Quarry (Cinemax), and recent Sundance Film Festival entry from Michael Polish & Kate Bosworth Bring On The Dancing Horses. On the feature side, Happy co-starred opposite Will Smith and Edgar Ramirez in David Ayer's Bright (Netflix), and prior was opposite Robert DeNiro in Taylor Hackford's The Comedian. He has also appeared opposite Sandra Bullock in Suzanne Bier's Birdbox (Netflix) and opposite Will Smith & Martin Lawerence in Bad Boys For Life. He will next be seen opposite Jon Hamm and Tina Fey in the Independent Feature Maggie Moore(s) directed by John Slattery. He has also appeared on and off-Broadway including in The Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino. Happy started out as a tap dancer in the 1990's in New Paltz, New York. He resides in New York with his wife Meg Anderson and their cats Waylon and Willie.
