Kosaku Horiwaki is a dynamic and versatile filmmaker, writer, director, and producer passionate about promoting cultural diversity within the entertainment industry. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Kosaku has honed his attention to detail and gained invaluable experience working as a Unit Production Manager in Japanese television for over two decades. Currently pursuing an MFA in Film Directing from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College, Kosaku has refined his skills, enhancing his unique camera gaze and staging technique, resulting in a fresh approach to visual storytelling. In the following academic years, he will also commence a new MA program in cinema studies at Feirstein, where he will continue to develop his expertise and build his teaching portfolio. In addition, Kosaku is eager to collaborate with fellow filmmakers and educators and explore innovative avenues for storytelling. Kosaku's work showcases his dedication to promoting cultural diversity as he endeavors to tell stories that capture diverse experiences and perspectives. With his commitment to inclusive storytelling and thought-provoking cinematic experience, Kosaku is an innovative filmmaker whose work encourages the viewers to embrace the beauty and complexity of our inner worlds.
