Raj Singh Verma

Rajsingh Verma is a leading Bollywood actor and director based out of Mumbai. After completing B.Sc in Physics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, and obtaining an MMS degree from JBIMS, he worked at Lowe Lintas, a renowned advertising agency, where he handled Hindustan Lever Brands. He has been associated with many brands since: Patanjali, Colgate, Surf, HDFC, Reliance, Volini, Coke, Siemens, Baskin Robins, Hallmark, Smirnoff, and others. As a director of Earst Communications Ltd. & Bliss Unlimited, he handled different aspects of advertising, production, marketing and promotions of various brands. Rajsingh also has acted in various TV shows (as the leading male protagonist) such as Miit directed by Anurag Basu, Prateeksha by Basu Chatterjee, Jahan Pe Ho basera, a Star Plus show by Naresh Malhotra, Koi Laut Ke Aya, India Calling, Yeh Wada Raha, Uttran, Kagaz Ki Kashti, Ganga and several others. In theatre, he acted in plays with 90 plus shows in Europe and India. In Punch a Tantra, he played 7 different characters in every show! He also did Theatre Plays with Padmini Kolhapuri, Mahesh Thakur and others. He has done a few selective films out of which "REWIND" IS THE FIRST TRUE REVERSE FILM FROM INDIA, WHICH HAS BEEN SELECTED AT VARIOUS FESTIVALS WORLDWIDE (LOCARNO-SWITZERLAND, SEATTLE, LA, MONTREAL-CANADA, MILANO-ITALY, PALMSPRINGS-USA ETC) AND WAS RELEASED BY PVR. His recent projects include Ganga Gaurav, a 25-episode biopic/documentary series on Indian heroes which he anchored and directed for Reliance Big Magic. As a guest lecturer, he has taught communication and soft skills at IIT, MICA, Mumbai University and others.
