After his two-year NBC News contract was through, he made the jump to Los Angeles and the entertainment industry. His live news instincts made him an extremely sought-after hidden camera operator working on "Scare Tactics," "Punk'd," "Jamie Kennedy," "Girls Behaving Badly," "Oblivious," "Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty," "Totally Busted," "Bloopers," "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," "Howie Do It," "Deal With It" & "Prank It Forward." A member of the International Cinematographer's Guild (IATSE Local 600) and professional director of photography for 15 years, Casey works on 6-8 different television shows a year and is constantly developing, directing, producing and of course, shooting, writing and editing numerous network pilots, presentations, concept proofs, and sizzles. As a documentary writer and producer Casey's first feature documentary, "Blood, Sweat & Gears" won the audience award for Best Documentary at the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival in Los Angeles. His second documentary, "The Green Rush" sold American broadcast to Current TV and international rights in more than 10 countries via Netflix, iTunes and Amazon! As a development writer for both Billboard and Nickelodeon, Casey is pitching shows all over town and has been represented at Paradigm Talent Agency for over ten years. He's currently working on multiple projects for CBS Studios (Alternative Programming), and is the Show Runner for the first ever, vertical hidden-camera show on Snapchat. His digital video portfolio has even spread to Esports, shooting the H1Z1 Pro League in Vegas.
