Chloe Hesar was born in Gateshead, England, UK. She moved to Surrey when she was 3 years old. She began taking acting classes at Laine Theatre Arts aged 10. Unsatisfied with not being on television, Chloe auditioned for her first professional acting agency at 11. Her first acting performance on screen was as Jen Brooks in The Bill (1984) when she was 12. Her first movie role was as Emily in Faintheart (2008), a story about an irresponsible man who has to shape up in order to win back his wife. Chloe won the role against 25,000 other actresses who had sent in audition tapes worldwide. According to the director, her audition stood out because she was the only one who kissed Martin, played by Joseph Hamilton, on the cheek. After some critical acclaim and attention garnered at the Cambridge Film Festival, Chloe began gaining larger roles in more television series. She achieved a series of roles in the space of just 4 months for M.I.High (2007), Silent Witness (1996) and again, The Bill (1984). This time, she was invited back on The Bill for a double episode special, named The Forgotten Child, after her character Jen Kilshaw - a foster girl being groomed by an older teenage boy. Her performance was noted by several television magazines, some featuring pictures of her performance. After high school, Chloe went on to study Philosophy at King's College London. She continued acting throughout her degree, in television series such as Sky One's Parents (2012), The Inbetweeners (2008) and CBBC's Sadie J (2011). Chloe also landed a small part in the feature film Survivor (2015) alongside Milla Jovovich and Pierce Brosnan. Chloe graduated from King's College London in July 2014 with 2:1 BA Honours in Philosophy. Immediately after graduation she acted in a two episode special of BBC's Doctors (2000). She had her theatre debut at the Almeida Theatre in early 2015, playing the character of Mandy in Mike Bartlett's world premier of 'Game'. The play was met with four star ratings from Time Out and The Guardian. In early October 2015, it was announced that Chloe would be one of the new regular cast members of the BAFTA Children's award winning show Wolfblood (2012) (CBBC). Filming began in September 2015, and the show will be aired worldwide in 2016, including on the Disney Channel in the US. Chloe will play Shanice in Nadia Fall's 'The Suicide' at The National Theatre in 2016.
