Andreas Pfiffner

Andreas Pfiffner studied rhythmics at the University for Music and Theater in Biel and later music and media art at the Bern University of the Arts. He is working as a filmmaker and co-partner of the ton und bild GmbH. As director, writer, cinematographer, steadycam-operator and producer he realized, together with Simon Baumann, documentaries and short films. For the short film Emozioniere (2009) the filmmakers received the Young Talents award of the Canton of Bern, as well as four festival awards. Andreas Pfiffner has been working with the director and choreographer Cisco Aznar, whose much-acclaimed operas are staged in la Coruna, Lausanne, Dijon and Stockholm.
