Alexis J. Estevez

Alexis J. Estevez was born April 29, 1975, in Brooklyn, New York. Always creative, he loved drawing and even illustrated his own comic books as a teenager. After high school, Estevez attended Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles where he fell in love with filmmaking during a class video assignment. He moved back to New York City where he directed several short films and a feature, Animus (2011). Estevez would later direct short-form content for Comedy Central and 20th Century Fox. After returning to Los Angeles, he won several film festival awards for his dark comedy, Harvard Court (2015). In addition to directing for NBCUniversal and Outdoor Channel Estevez produced and edited, Dead Meat Walking: A Zombie Walk Documentary (2012) featuring Norman Reedus and Tom Savini.
