Originally from Chicago, Carl Ball began his career as a music video director. Having directed videos in the rock, metal, hip hop, and folk genres, his collaboration with artists has brought their songs to life through both performance and storytelling. Ball wrote and directed his first short film, "Time", in 2011. "Time" went on to beat out hundreds of other world wide submissions to end up in the top ten of Drafthouse Films "The ABC's of Death" international feature film competition.
