Adam Oldroyd is a British film and television director, writer and producer. He began his career in 1999 directing promotional and advertising films before progressing to comedy shorts, television and feature films. He is known for his versatility, working across many genres including drama, documentary and comedy. Since 2016 he has been series director on the BAFTA nominated BBC children's drama Andy's Adventures. He is a frequent collaborator with the BBC's world renowned Natural History Unit, working alongside presenters including Sir David Attenborough and Steve Backshall. His feature film Sideshow premiered at the 2020 Cairo International Film Festival and was released in the USA in 2021 and in UK cinemas in 2022.
