Richard Knowles

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Richard is a versatile film, TV, and theatre actor. Before attending The New Zealand Drama School he was a professional sportsman, playing water polo in Germany and captaining the NZ National team. He has been a regular on screen and stage across all genres. His film credits include Guns Akimbo, the multi award-winning 'Out Of The Blue', the comedy/horror 'Freshmeat', and 'Underworld III: Rise of the Lycans'. He has worked on every major TV show in NZ - most recently Nothing Trivial, Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud, The Almighty Johnson's, Shortland St, and Go Girls.
