An escaped native of the terra cotta capital of the world - Tucson, Arizona - Brian wrote and directed his first film - "The Fighting 13th" at the age of eleven. He's hoping he didn't peak too early. His theatrical career started shortly thereafter with the Arizona Theater Company's distinguished "Encompass" program. He has appeared on stage in numerous musicals including "West Side Story", "The Sound of Music", and "Hello, Dolly" as well as directed performances of "Barefoot in the Park" and "David and Lisa". Brian also appeared on stage for two seasons with the Southern Arizona Light Opera Company. After majoring in both Communications and Drama Education at the University of Arizona, Brian moved to Los Angeles where he attended the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In addition to appearing in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons" and Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie", Brian's focus broadened to include improvisational comedy and screenwriting. Brian has also worked behind the scenes as an Assistant to (Emmy Award Winning) Set Designer Phyllis Hofberg for the children's television program "Funhouse", as well as Production Assistant for the Nickelodeon program "Salute your Shorts". For Touchstone Pictures' "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" Premier, Brian was back in front of an audience as Master of Ceremonies (along with original MTV VJ Mark Goodman). Brian is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Woodbury University School of Business and Management, will complete his MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA in 2008, and resides in the San Fernando Valley.
