Kaya Coleman

Half Ukrainian Half African-American, Kaya Coleman Prokopchuk was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She began acting and modeling at a young age and achieved success in her academic career. In 2016, she graduated from West Island College (WIC) with a French bilingual diploma with honors and in 2020 graduated from UBC Okanagan with a BSc in Medical Molecular Biochemistry. Throughout her six years at WIC, she competed in volleyball, basketball, track & field and cheerleading. From 2018-2020 she danced with Dipp Dance in Kelowna. More recently, Kaya can be seen as the principal actor in Post-Modern Connection's "Memories" music video that won the Kootenay's Video of the Year Award (2019) and as Maz in Operation: Clean Slate (2020).
