LaVita Brooks

LaVita Brooks was born on January 24, 1976 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was raised by her paternal grandparents who provided her with love and stability. Even as a child, she knew that she needed acting as a creative outlet. The stages at Magnolia Elementary, Airways Jr. High and Hamilton High Schools were the canvas for her art. She has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a Performance Concentration from The University of Memphis Department of Theatre and Dance. LaVita is an alumni of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA. Film is a passion for her. There are several Independent films, major productions, commercials, voice overs and print jobs on her resume. LaVita has three brothers and is the only daughter.
