Coming through the ranks of Skadden Arps, Paramount Pictures, Norman Lear's Act III, and the development nirvana that was Triad's TV Packaging in the 90's, Variety claimed in '91 "Lisa Lindo's seen as a leader among her peers." She founded ACME Talent & Literary in 1993 with William Morris & ICM agents, adding an east coast office in 1996. Acme flourished and continued to grow the 10 years she was CEO and became the focus of "Fight For Fame" - a series on E! - where 5 actors competed to be an Acme client. Her agency's talent department represented adults & children on both coasts, television lit and film lit clients, video games, sports clients, print, voice-over, and Broadway talent. Acme's film literary department set up "Elf", "Save The Last Dance", "Aftershock", Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center" (with Nicolas Cage) and numerous other six/seven figure deals as featured on The Black List. Acme put Seth Meyers on SNL, got Paul Franklin Dano his first indie film L.I.E. - for which he won an Independent Spirit Award - placed Marrisa Winokur in "Hairspray" for which she won a Tony, and was generally considered a top-of-the-middle sized agency during Lindo's tenure. Dubbed 'Queen of Sundance' by Indiewire (1995), Lisa Lindo followed up the festival soirees with lavish annual bi coastal Sundance Reunion events from '93 - 2003. The LA Times Style section even featured her 1500 person west coast Sundance Reunion on their front page as a 'go to' event where Sundance alumni could meet industry execs. Today, as CEO of Rocket Surgeon Productions (RSP), Lindo manages select literary clients, IPs, and companies, is the Vice President of MIFF (Milan Int'l Film Festival), and in 2021, RSP partnered with Glass House Distribution to distribute indie features.
