Dayna Hanson is a writer, director, choreographer, actress and producer. Acclaimed in the contemporary dance world, Hanson is a 2017 MacDowell Colony Fellow, a 2010 United States Artists Oliver Fellow in Dance and a 2006 John Simon Guggenheim Foundation Fellow. She wrote, choreographed and directed "Voyeurs," a critically acclaimed episode of Season One of HBO's "Room 104" by The Duplass Brothers. Her debut feature film, "Improvement Club," premiered in Narrative Competition at South by Southwest Film Festival 2013. She produced Linas Phillips' 2006 feature, "Walking to Werner." Hanson has directed and choreographed numerous short dance films, including "Measure," which can be found on First Run Features' "Dance for Camera, Vol. 1."
