Nicolas Doldinger was born in Munich, Germany. His love for the cinema started when he attended high schools for the performing arts in Germany and England. It was here that he was able to explore the world of story telling by making his own animated films as well as acting and directing in school plays. To pursue his penchant for story telling, he studied and graduated at Bournemouth University, UK in the BA (Hons) Television Production course with a first class honors. The 2005 ITV Meridian Best Drama award was given to Nico for his film "The Flowerman' which he wrote, directed and edited. After 2 years of working in the Toronto film scene he recently won an honorary award from the Minister of Social Affairs of the UAE ,H.E. Mariam Mohammad Khalfan Al Roumi for his support of the UAE film scene as Steadicam Operator and Producer and moved to New York to pursue his career further.
