Originally from Chicago, Laurie Mark got her start in entertainment as a teen modeling for clients including Caterpillar Footwear, AT&T, Allstate Insurance, Motorola, PriceWaterHouse Coopers, and many others. Wanting to expand her horizons, she chose the path to study acting at various theaters and private studios in Chicago including 2nd City, Victory Gardens Theater, Act One Studios, and The Audition Studio where she honed her craft. Her acting influences include the teachings of Uta Hagen and Michael Shurtleff. Laurie's first guest starring role was on the television series "The Playbook" that aired on Spike TV. She has also been seen in the FOX series "On the Lot" in the short film "Deliver Me" by award winning director Carolina Zorrilla de San Martin. Laurie continues to pave her way in Hollywood and pursue her love of acting and independent film. Her other passions include spinning records, writing poetry, and reading up on the latest self help books. Her favorite books include the Four Agreements and The Road Less Traveled.
