Charles spent his early years growing up in Brooklyn, New York. After competing for entry into a special high school (The High school of Art & Design) and attending the Rhode Island School of Design (architect Major), NYU (electronics Engineering) and the Institute of Audio Research, Charles worked at an Arcitecture firm for 2 weeks, 9 to 5, when a recording he had done went high on the charts and that was the last 9 to 5 job he had. After recording and touring on several projects Charles was the chief engineer on the team (Eventide) that designed the first Digital Audio electronics (The Digital Delay Line) which made cell phones, ipods, computer sound and all other present day sound technologies a reality. In addition to this he designed a number of state of the Art recording studios with his architectural, Audio Research and electronics engineering background. Continuing as a Record Producer/Recording Engineer/Musician/Writer through the years, Charles was involved in hundreds of projects and worked for Capitol Records, Warner Bros. and a number of other state of the art recording companies and studios. When the event of personal computers became a reality, Charles was involved in programming some of the first and top of the line music software products. As a participant on the team that wrote the, now current, recording language between music machines called MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), Charles developed many products for companies like Yamaha, Kurweil, Casio, Korg (to name a few) and all of his products were endorsed by the respective companies and was subject of a plethora of Music trades magazine articles and interviews for 2 decades. Currently Charles is Producing a number of CDs and Videos and Red Carpet Concert Events with A group of young celebrities called the Hollywood Hooligans and the Broadway Bratz. A portion of the proceeds for all of these projects are donated to help many children's charities.
