Logan Leistikow is a filmmaker with a penchant for comedy and a dynamic repertoire. He began his career in 2006 by creating and distributing viral videos via the internet. His video Mustache Montage got picked up by IFC's Media Lab TV show and earned him the title of "Featured Director" for the month of August, 2006. That same year, Leistikow released a video called Michael Jordan's Phobia Clinic, which was entered into a Yahoo video contest. During the contest, celebrity judge Tom Green enjoyed the piece and noted "I think these guys need to have their own sketch comedy show online." A few months later Leistikow was hired by Green to produce, direct, and edit his online celebrity talk show, Tom Green Live. After the first version of Tom Green Live ended in 2007, Leistikow freelanced around Los Angeles taking many different types of gigs, most of which pertained to show business. These gigs included camera work, background acting, editing, gripping, producing, and even carpentry. During this period, Leistikow met a group of comics who performed monthly comedy shows in their garage and called it "The Comedy Garage." After attending a live Comedy Garage show, he decided to produce and direct an hour long film that would be an infusion stand-up show and documentary. In 2010 Leistikow signed a one-year contract to produce and edit video for NBC.com. He worked on several behind-the-scenes and promotional projects for NBC shows Last Comic Standing, The Apprentice, Parenthood, Days of Our Lives, Minute to Win It, and The Marriage Ref, among others. Shortly after his NBC contract ended in February of 2011, Leistikow released his documentary, The Comedy Garage.
