Lauren Selman

Lauren Selman, American award winning producer, director, and actress, was raised in a northern California. She began modeling when she was a child for ad campaigns and children's books and starred in her first commercial at age 9 and has been acting and producing since. She has worked on the production teams for The Academy Awards, The Primetime Emmys, BlizzCon, Vancouver Olympics, Golden Globe Awards and other large live events. In 2008, she completed a multi year study of the environmental impact of film production and moved to Los Angeles to launch Reel Green Media to help pioneer the conversation about sustainable sets which launched a successful environmental movement in the industry. Her work is captured in the 2008 documentary, "Greenlit", directed by Miranda Bailey. Lauren is also a professional public speaker and has spoken at TEDx, the United Nations Association, AFCI, UCLA and other colleges and universities.
