Michael was born and raised in Massachusetts, and began acting in theater at a very young age beginning with church productions. After being cast in a number of high school plays he moved out to California for college and studied at Chapman University in Orange. When he arrived in Los Angeles a few years later he began producing theater first under the banner MJProductions and then under White Shark Entertainment. As a member of TheatreLA, his productions have run the boards at the Hollywood Court Theatre, the 2nd Stage, The Complex, the Stella Adler, the El Portal, and others. Amongst the most memorable plays were the critical and box office smash "Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?" and the equally critically successful and box office hit "On the Open Road," which garnered an Ovation Award nomination. Michael still produces theater to this day. Through these years, Michael has continued his study of acting by being a student of the iconic and dearly missed Jeff Corey, Allan Miller and Candy Herman. He's also spent much time studying in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and in Oxford on scholarship at the British American Drama Academy. Upon returning from his studies abroad, Michael began switching his focus to films and production (i.e. Editing, DP, Directing, etc). Since then, Piscitelli has produced five shorts and one feature. He's also been cast in the starring roles of over 15 other films, which have so far appeared in festivals and on the net. He has appeared on television with roles in both Port Charles and The Bold & the Beautiful, along with an appearance on the long lost classic special Circus of the Stars.
