Birgitte Larsen is an actor at the Norwegian National Theater, where she is performing critically acclaimed plays such as REFORM 97 and AFTER THE SILENCE. She is also a house playwright at Dramatikkens Hus. Larsen is a graduate of the Norwegian Theater Academy and has won the Hedda Prize. She has previously starred in films such as As You See Me and The Light from the Chocolate Factory. The collaboration with director Itonje Søimer Guttormsen started with the short film Retreat (2016) where Larsen played the main role. With the feature film GRITT, the two continue their collaboration and Gritt's journey.
