Lewis Alexander

British bit player Lewis Alexander was born Herbert Alexander Lewis on August 27, 1910 in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. Lewis first began popping up in both films and TV shows alike in uncredited minor parts in the mid-1960's. A distinguished looking gentleman with a noble bearing and a neatly trimmed mustache, Alexander was frequently cast as party guests, government officials, or patrons in either casinos or restaurants. Moreover, Lewis often appeared onscreen alongside his wife and fellow background player Aileen Lewis. Alexander died at age one hundred on October 23, 2010 in Felpham, West Sussex, England.
