He began surfing as a child in Hawaii with his uncle, at the age of ten. Originally from Bucks County, Kelly spent his summers in Ocean City. Rob is a 3 - times state champion and won 2007 NSSA Men's East Coast Championship. He competed on the World Qualifying tour from 2009 till 2019. He now works in marketing for Billabong and presenter on his NumbSkulls YouTube channel.
