Nabila Lester

Nabila was born in Harlem, New York to a Opera/Jazz Singer and Theater Actor. She is of West African, Native American and English/Irish descent. She was raised in NYC and moved to Berkeley, CA where she graduated from Berkeley High School. Having always been an excellent student she attended University of California, Berkeley where she received her BA in American Studies and then received a MFA in film production at the prestigious University of Southern, School of Cinematic Studies. Nabila is also a professor of film and television at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia.
