Paolo Borraccetti was born and raised in Padova, Italy. He graduated with a BA in Communications from the University of Bologna. From 2001 to 2003, he was a writer for the award-winning Italian comedy television shows "Zelig" and "Zelig Circus". He also contributed to the behind the scenes filming of the feature film "Pinocchio", by Roberto Benigni. A Fulbright scholar, Paolo attended the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, California, where he graduated with an MFA in 2007. While at USC, he wrote and directed the short films "Santiago", which screened at the Telluride Film Festival, and "Have You Ever Heard About Vukovar?", which played in film festivals around the world (USA, Italy, Egypt, Russia, Japan, India) including the 2008 Tribeca FIlm Festival and Aspen Shortsfest. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
