Brian Biegel

Brian Biegel is a multi-award-winning documentary filmmaker with special interests in categories such as True Crime; History and Sports. His first feature produced documentary was based on his best-selling book, "Miracle Ball: My Hunt for the Shot Heard 'Round the World" and debuted on Discovery/Velocity in 2012. Mr. Biegel wrote and directed a documentary called, "The Counterfeiter" for the Emmy award-winning ESPN "30 for 30" series. "The Counterfeiter" premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival then aired on ESPN. Expanding the concept of implementing forensic science to locate and authenticate famously-missing sports artifacts, Biegel developed and created the docu-series, "Sports Detectives" for the Smithsonian Channel in 2015-2016. He worked as an Executive Producer on the show, produced with Left/Right Productions. Brian's pro Bono work includes, "Getting My Child Back: Fighting Autism", a documentary, which won1st prize at the 2006 NY International Film Festival.
