Bill McMillin is a 1976 graduate of the University of Idaho and is a nationally recognized cinematographer. He started his career in KIVI- TV in Boise and then spent four years as an award- winning producer and staff photographer at KUID- TV (1978-1982) in Moscow, Idaho. Two years at KCTS-TV in Seattle followed and then it was on to nine years at the Denver-based Norac production company. Since 1996, he has been based in Seattle and has worked as a freelancer. Stories he has covered in his career included the famine in Somalia and controversial presidential elections in Columbia. McMillin has worked in 50 states and on every major continent, shooting for programs such as "Frontline," "The Newshour," "20/20" and "Dateline."
