Agnete Strand was born in Karlskrona, Sweden. She came to Los Angeles to study acting, where she started out at the Lee Strasberg Institute; she also went on to study acting with Eric Morris and Susan Peretz. At Susan Peretz Third Street Theater she participated in many showcases. There, she also produced and directed children's theater and acted in plays. Agnete auditioned and passed, becoming a lifetime member of the Actors Studio West and East Coast. For a period of five years, Agnete returned to Sweden, where she spent some time in Stockholm doing Children's Theater at Teater Lusta. Agnete Also acted in plays at the NBV Theater during her stay. After her stay she returned to Los Angeles, where she now lives with her youngest son. During her career Agnete has acted in many shorts, student, and independent films. She has also acted in many plays in Los Angeles. One of them being a Swedish play called CEO which she brought to Los Angeles for its' the West Coast premiere; she both produced and acted in this play at the Hudson Theater. Amongst her many accomplishments, Agnete is an alumna of Writers Bootcamp where she started writing her first screenplays. She has translated many Swedish plays and a children's book from Swedish to English. Agnete has been a part of Women in Film and continues to work on her craft through improve, cold reading, as well as scene study classes.
