Jeshua De Horta is an American photojournalist, director, writer, and producer. During his 20-year tenure as a filmmaker, Jeshua has held various production roles. From producing wholesome "I'm a Mormon" ads to unapologetic journalism in the Holy Land, Jeshua has the knack for transforming the ordinary into engaging content. In 2005, Jeshua began work on his first feature, "The Saxon Chronicles," which he directed, produced, and co-wrote. The film tells the story of Alfred the Great, England's most influential and inspiring king, who prevailed over overwhelming odds to defend his kingdom from Norse invaders. Much like the film's premise, the film's production was a real-life David & Goliath tale. Despite a modest budget, the film won several awards during its festival run. Later, "The Saxon Chronicles" was sold to H2, a brand of A&E Networks. Since his directorial debut's financial and critical success, Jeshua has held several positions on both the big and small screen. Including an associate producer for Spike TV's reality series "Flip Men," and the director of photography for the feature film, "Vengeance" starring Danny Trejo. Jeshua has been a cameraman for LMFAO's hit music video "Sorry for the Party Rocking." He's recorded live concerts for Redfoo, Akon, and Big Sean. He's produced a series of rockumentary shorts for Uncle Luke of 2 Live Crew, La Melodia Perfecta, Frankie Negron, and Angela Hunte. In addition to his career in film and television, Jeshua is a passionate journalist. He continues to travel the world to interview the unsung heroes of history. To date, he has captured dozens of interviews with war veterans, civil rights leaders, and holocaust survivors.
