Selen Uçer was born on May 5, 1983 in Istanbul. Private St. After completing Georg Austrian High School, she followed the path of his parents, who were Chemical Engineers, and graduated from Bogaziçi University, Department of Chemical Engineering. Selen Uçer, who participated in theater studies at Bogaziçi Players while she was studying at university, took part-time lessons at Istanbul University State Conservatory Voice Department. Uçer, who took classes at Akademi Istanbul for about a year, went to the USA to do her master's degree in theater and acting and entered Roosevelt University in Chicago on a scholarship. The play Dream in New York (American Dream) that she wrote here was staged by Ensemble Theater on Off-Broadway. Returning to Turkey in 2004, Selen Uçer gave lectures on Improvisation, Comedy and Character, Use of Voice for Acting at Yeditepe University Theater Acting department. She also conducted workshops at Bogaziçi University Mithat Alam Film Center. Selen Uçer starred in the Cinderella section of the movie Narrated Istanbul, which consists of 5 different stories: The Pied Piper of Fareli Village, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood, which was screened on March 11, 2005. She took part in the production of DOT's Insect, which staged in-yer-face current plays. She was nominated for the Afife Jale Awards in the category of the Most Successful Musical / Comedy Actress of the Year in a Supporting Role with her performance in Haldun Dormen's Kanto player at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres. Selen Uçer, who starred with Erdem Akakçe, Betül Çobanoglu and Serhat Tutumluer in the movie Ara, written and directed by Ümit Ünal, which was screened in 2008, won the "Best Actress" award at the 15th Adana Golden Boll Film Festival for her role as Gül. In 2015, with her role in the theater play Kursiki, she received the 20th Sadri Alisik Theater and Cinema Actor Awards as the Most Successful Actress of the Year in a Supporting Role. Selen Uçar, who directed the play All Women Are Confused in 2016, received the Best Director award at the Ismet Küntay Theater Awards. While playing the role of Nilgün in the TV series Big Big Lies broadcast on Kanal D in 2018; She shared the lead roles with Hakan Yilmaz, Evrim Alasya, Pelin Öztekin, Ferdi Sancar and Rüzgar Aksoy. Selen Uçer, who starred with Burak Sevinç, Melis Sezen, Tolga Güleç and Tugçe Acikgöz in the TV series Leke in 2019, played the role of Serpil Zengin.
