Jeff Simpson

Jeff Simpson is a film and television producer and director, with 20 years experience in the BBC. He is co-director of 'A Liar's Autobiography - the Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman' (released Autumn 2012), an animated feature based on the memoir of the late Graham Chapman, along with fellow Pythons John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones. In TV, Jeff developed a strong reputation for telling the definitive stories of huge TV brands, including Top of the Pops, Thunderbirds and Strictly Come Dancing. He is a former producer of Top of the Pops, and has made series and one offs for BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Four. He has also worked as a journalist, author, broadcaster and weekly film reviewer on BBC Radio 6 Music.
