Tim Shields is an award-winning landscape photographer from White Rock, Canada. He has appeared in two films and he teaches photographers how to take their own stunning photos. Shields was the executive producer of Stolen Lives, a documentary film about the linkage between drug addiction and auto theft. Shields launched this film in partnership with Odd Squad Productions in Vancouver. The film relied on hidden camera video footage shot from the inside of bait cars. It also featured interviews with car thieves who told their stories of addiction as a means of educating young people about the dangers of drug addiction and its connection to car theft. This film became part of the British Columbia high school curriculum and was endorsed by the BC Ministry of Education. Shields also appeared as a crime scene officer in the 2006 film, Shut Up and Shoot! Tim Shields is the recipient of the International Nature Photographer of the Year Award from Master Photographers International. He is the creator of the Photography Transformation Four-Step System and has written two books on photography: The Photo Cookbook and Landscape Photography Secrets.
